Reflection: Choosing Your Team and Project

Hello World!

Today I’ll talk about choosing the team for my WordPress project.

First of all, I chose the Polyglots translation team! Big choice right there, I was thinking between that and the Photo Directory team, but since I don’t have a good camera other than my phone I made my mind and went to Polyglots. And in any case is that a bad thing of course, I like translating things! When you are bilingual you usually consume a lot of media from your two languages and inevitablely think:

How can I make this sound good in another language?

This was enough reason to go all in and see for myself how professional translation is actually done. My project consists of translating strings from a plugin called WooCommerce and I’m really hoping to learn and improve my English and Spanish at the same time. See you next post!
